The Rex Video Gallery:
Corrupt Beyond Innocence
Drawings from the Ceiling
of the Toilet in the Sistine Chapel

The Rex Video Gallery: Corrupt Beyond Innocence. This first and only Rexwerk video turns your screen into an erotic master’s personal gallery. World-renowned artist Rex, in a much-published careet begun in 1970, is the perversatile kingpin of restless nights in one-night cheap hotels, of sawdust diners, and gas station toilets. Drawn from life, his art, exquisitely corrupt beyond innocence, is as extraordinary esthetically as it is erotically. Much of Rex’s latest work purposely breaks all known taboos.

Rex himself gathered together the best of his newest and classic, seedy, sleazy, museum-quality, original drawings for this gorgeously nasty video. Whether you are a collector or a jerkoff fan, you know Rex men from Drummer, Stroke, Inches, Honcho, Mach, plus a hundred other magazines.

Rex is to drawing what Robert Mapplethorpe is to photography. But Rex is frankly hotter, sleazier, full of dripping raunch, hungry mouths, big dicks, greasy butts, hot tits, hairy chests, bull balls, and sex action.

Mapplethorpe takes the Concorde. Rex takes the bus!

Rex is artist of urban toilets, blue-collar hotels, filthy construction workers, greasy gas jockeys, muscled bikers, tattooed fighters, beautiful young homeless bums, pissing ex-cons, armpit-sweaty beautiful studs needing head–all these unshaved “lone wolves” in jockstraps, leather, boots, and torn tanktops, who ring their tits and cockheads, tied with leather thongs, who pay-per-night in sleaze-bag hotels where sailors, Marines, cops, and drifters lie back on cum-stained mattresses, the smoke of their cigarettes drifting out the crack of their rooms, down to the toilet where the cracked urinal drips beer piss, and the graffiti-covered stall is drilled with gloryholes glazed with cum from big dicks. In another vein, Rex draws mad Nazi doctors and demigods of verboten fascism who take prurient delight in erotic torture.

Rex, who is the Radiograph pointilist artist supreme, will take you slumming to the wrong side of the social and moral tracks. The Rex Video Gallery is directed and photographed by Jack Fritscher in glorious black-and-white from Rex’s original black-and-white drawings. The soundtrack is composed and performed by Mark Hemry and Jack Fritscher. Audio-video editing is by Mark Hemry. If you’re a collector or a sex animal, you need the fresh eye of Rex, because, like Rex, you’re “beyond innocence.” From the ceiling of the toilet in the Sistine Chapel, these 60 man-as-sex-animal minutes, were exhibited in a video installation as “Best in Show” New Langton Arts Gallery, San Francisco.
